Seeds Of Destiny Devotional – Make Sense On Time

Topic: Make Sense On Time [Seeds of Destiny 1 August 2019 Devotional]

Beloved, opportunity is universal, but success is not universal. So, every time you have the stage, make sense on time because the stage is not yours forever.

SCRIPTURE: To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every time you have the stage, make sense on time because the stage is not yours forever.

Opportunity, according to Oxford Dictionary is a time or a set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something. Effective management of opportunities is very critical to success in life and destiny. How people end up in life is determined by how they manage the opportunities of their lives.

When I was in the Medical School, I was made the president of the Christian Medical Students Fellowship of my university. There was a time we went for the Christian Medical Students National Conference at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital. People from different universities across the country gathered and some persons were appointed to anchor different items on the program schedule, and by privilege, I was appointed to lead a five-minute segment of prayer. And within those five minutes, there was an eruption. The impact was both tangible and undeniable.

So when it was time to elect the national president, they almost unanimously pointed to the direction of the man who brought fire in five minutes; they made me the national president of the fellowship. Thus I became national president, travelled across the country, preaching to medical students, and that experience was very foundational for my life and ministry.

Beloved, opportunity is universal, but success is not universal. So, every time you have the stage, make sense on time because the stage is not yours forever; there are others queuing up to make sense. To be an opportunity waster is to be a destiny waster.

Remember this: Every time you have the stage, make sense on time because the stage is not yours forever.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

  1. Have a mentality of making impact anywhere you go; refuse to be insignificant.
  2. Seize the moment; utilize every opportunity you have, and if you feel there is no opportunity, create one.

DCLM Daily Manna – Fed From Heaven

Topic: Fed From Heaven [DCLM Daily Manna 1 August 2019 Daily Devotional]

Text: Exodus 16:32-36 (KJV)

32 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.

33 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations.

34 As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.

35 And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.

36 Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.

Key Verse: “And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years until they came to a land inhabited…” (Exodus 16:35a).

MESSAGE:

Sometime in May 2018, pictures circulated in the social media showing multitudes of fish instead of rain, falling from the sky on the streets of a particular Asian city. Men were seen busy gathering heaps of fish into containers. Though no explanation was given for such strange occurrence, someone said he believed it was a form of “manna” from God for that city.

Moses, as directed by God, had instructed Aaron the high priest to take a pot and fill it with manna to be kept for a memorial so that future generations of the children of Israel would be able to see the manna with which God fed them for forty years in the wilderness.

God’s sovereign power was clearly displayed so that the children of Israel would not be in doubt as to the great power of Jehovah. Besides the various miracles He performed, including those of judgment against Pharaoh and the Egyptians, and how He divided the Red Sea, He also gave them water from the rock when they were thirsty. However, the children of Israel failed to appreciate the ways of God and kept on provoking Him by their constant complaints and murmuring.

As believers, regardless of the harsh economic situations we are facing today, our complete confidence must be on the promises of God. As we believe and confess this truth regularly, our God will respond by granting the desire of His people. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. As He fed thousands of people, so will He supply our needs according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus. He promises never to leave nor forsake us. He that spared not His own Son but gave Him to die for our sins has also with Him freely given us all things.

Thought For The Day: Jehovah Jireh provides for His own.

Lyrics: Only God By Prexy Sam Ola

He chose me

I didn’t choose myself

He placed His hand upon me

To sing out His praise

He could have chosen stones

He could have chosen bird

Praise God

I am the one He chose to come praise Him

He chose me

I didn’t choose myself

He placed His hand upon me

To sing out His praise

He could have chosen stones

He could have chosen bird

Praise God

I am the one He chose to come praise Him

Chorus

Only God can bring the sunshine

Only God can bring the rain

Only God can make a way

Trust in Him

I know times are hard

Everyone is looking out

Looking for a way

For a real way out

They looking for a place

That really satisfy

Looking for a way

For a real way out

Repeat 2x

Bridge

Try to be ahead in everything you do

Dont stay behind trust in God alone

He is the way

The truth and the life

He will give you the rain

When the sun is gone

About FaitFavour

Ifedigbo Favour Nnedimma (Chibueze) also known as ‘FaitFavour’ is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, adventurer, mother and a healing minister. God brought forth her calling through song ministrations. She hails from Anambra state.

She’s a graduate with a diploma in statistics from Abia state polytechnic and equally a graduate from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. She’s married to a wonderful husband and blessed with four children.

FaitFavour started her music career at a teenage age which is a gift passed down from her mother. She grew up to become a devoted Spirit-filled Christian, lover of children and youths.

Her vision and mission has been a front show for her. Firstly, she started as a minister in Catholic Charismatic Renewal, a counselor, and mother of many always ready to receive anyone that comes around her with a sincere heart.

FaitFavour has since became known with her song “Lion of Judah” there she passionately made an album titled RESOLUTION.

Right now, FaitFavour is blessed with five wonderful songs, all wriiten by her. These songs are: Who Am I, What God Says, It Is Finished, I praise Your Name and Overflow.

Her inspiration is from the Holy Spirit.

Early Life:

FaitFavour came from a family of five. She lost her wonderful, caring, best friend, role model and mentor precious mother at teenage age. It was hard to make up with life as a teenager. Motherly tender care disappeared. Everything was turned upside down.

She has since then grown to be a woman filled with passion and experiences of life, there she swore that teenager or youth who sincerely come to her for a cover will be shown kindness and love. Just to heal their wounded heart and cause them to live again.

These experiences has led her to her present dream of bringing truth, Joy and Love that only be found in Christ through song ministration by the Holy Spirit.

DavisKing – Olufeokanmi

UK-based gospel artiste davisKING re-emerges on the music scene with a brand new single “Olufeokanmi,” his first release since 2015. The contemporary R&B song is a pleasant foretaste from Davis’ upcoming debut album, ‘Brighten My Day’.

On this heartfelt track, davisKING celebrates love and the captivating grip it has on the soul that finds it. In a characteristic balmy voice, he reflects on what God’s love means to him and conveys it’s ‘dopeness’ with a chorus rendered in his rich Yoruba native language.

“Olufeokanmi” is a follow-up to Davis’ highly inspirational “Winners Anthem” released in January, 2015.
